What our world needs more than ever is

COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Celebrating, learning, healing, and growing together for a more compassionate community through yoga, meditation, plants, workshops & fun events.

As we grow, the offerings will grow and expand with us.

Welcome to the beginning of Tiger House’s journey. Through the pandemic I was thrust into a lot of thinking space to contemplate my own purpose and place that took into account the current state of the world, my own lifestyle and needs, the tools that I possess to make change that is authentic to what I’m committed to & how to execute it in ways that contribute joy to self and others. Tiger House is that concept.

Conceived many, many moons ago when my child was a toddler, “Tiger House” was spoken into the world. I asked her “if I ever have a yoga studio what should I name it?”. She was playing on the floor with a stuffed animal tiger that she loved, and immediately she answered, “Tiger House”, without skipping a beat. She is a constant inspiration and motivation for this passion to purpose lifestyle. As Tiger House grows, so will the offerings and potential to connect community in ways that serve and support compassionate community action through yoga, educational workshops, community gatherings and celebrations.

I’ve been teaching yoga for over a decade and it is a life love. Being an athlete growing up, my familiarity with the science of the body from my college pre-med education, having back and knee issues (I’m a big proponent of physical therapy - I’ve paired it with yoga for my own healing with strong results), the experience of working with so many people with so many different types of injuries, bodies, lifestyles, stressors- these all contribute to what and how I teach. I love teaching donation based yoga in cool community places. I aim to build a space that encompasses compassionate community connection.

I hope you’ll join me in this space as we share, learn, & celebrate together. For all stripes, and as my daughter added, “and spots too!”.
